MR. CITIZEN PATRIOT
"Supa Baaad Brutha"

GOES TO WASHINGTON, DC

A Narrative

As a result of not serving in the United States Military during the height of the Vietnam war when of age in 1969, the year of my graduation from Aberdeen High School in Aberdeen Maryland, in 2003, some 16 years ago, upon receive an up charge of my American, US patriotism, I created Mr. Citizen Patriot, Number Civilian, “supa bad brutha”.

Unlike the Uncle Sam symbol, which is merely an adamant cartoon poster, Mr. C. Patriot is an animated, living person who touches and can be touched.

Everything about this character is real, from his white hair and beard, including the “Uncle Sam” adornment, of which he wears in living, form fitting style, not being one of clownish, but rather a serious portrayal of patriotism.

The primary purpose of the Mr. Citizen Patriot character-persona and imagery is to inspire a greater and challengingly enthusiastic spirit of US patriotism throughout the country, especially to youths or young people, regardless of political affiliations, especially  by the following action by focusing greater attention, respect, support and care to our:

  1. Military Veterans, both deceased and living;
  2. Military active duty personnel;
  3. First responders such as, law enforcement, fire, rescue personnel;
  4. Educators, particularly those of pre and elementary grade school levels;
  5. Community workers such as volunteer advocates, activist and organizers, including paid government servants of honest character;

Sub Narrative

  1. Ironically, as a descendant of this republics living commodity, i.e., chattel slaves and Jim Crow survivor, demonstration the continuing, patriotic and loyal commitment of black citizens to the United States, citing its imperfections, while enjoining ourselves with the rest of our country’s We the People body politic “to more perfect the Union.”
  2. Shocking and inspiring into every black citizen 14th Amendment-1866 Civil Rights, super citizenship patriotism;

“Without you…your blackness, there would not be this red, white and blue”

“It’s upon your ancestors chattel enslaved backs, that this nation of immigrants is built”

“Upon your body, that the colors of this Republican form of government adorned and glorified”

The patriotism of the chattel slave descendants whose ancestors were brought to this land as unwilling slaves, shackled in the chains of the Transatlantic and ancient African Slave Trade, nullifies the complaints of American, US citizens of willing immigration heritage;

The “Supa Bad Brutha”

Mr. Patriot demonstrates not pretend the “god-like” super powers of comic book characters and those animated in television cartoons, and/or feature movie films, but rather, that of the mind, whereby, he is manifesting something that unusual courage, which anyone can achieve, provided they believe so.

So essentially being a chattel slave et al descendant, to do this in the present American environment demonstrates true super powers, hence, a “supa bad brutha”
